Senior School at Woodcroft College is the space and place for students to flourish in their individual strengths as they prepare to pursue their chosen pathway in life after school.
With a range of subject choices, the curriculum is broad and challenging. From core subjects and electives in Year 10 to the choice of over 40 compulsory and elective subjects as part of the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) and Vocational Education and Training. Woodcroft College offers a wide range of subjects to cater to emerging interests and the development of new skills.
SACE is an internationally recognised qualification and ensures students develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in an ever changing world.
Extensive subject selection and career counselling is offered to each student to help them understand options and post-school choices. Students are supported by the same Head of Year throughout Year 11 and Year 12, ensuring strong and stable relationships with key academic and support staff over this period.
While all students are encouraged to work hard, Woodcroft supports students to learn how to have a balanced approach to school and life. Students are encouraged to participate in an extra-curricular program including sporting and music activities along with leadership opportunities.
The pastoral care program caters to the changing needs of students as they progress through their final years at school. Students will be in a community that cares, challenges, respects and nurtures individual excellence.
Woodcroft aims to create young people ready to successfully take their place in the world, whether they are headed for university, further education, training, an apprenticeship or joining the workforce.
