Entry Requirements

A Bachelor Degree (or AQF Level 7 equivalent course); OR An Advanced Diploma/Associate Degree (or AQF Level 6 equivalent course) plus evidence of a minimum of two years’ relevant industry experience.

ENGLISH ENTRY REQUIREMENT: Academic IELTS- Overall 6.0, with not less than 6.0 for Speaking and Writing and 5.5 for Listening and Reading OR KITE (Kaplan International Test of English) - Score greater than 426 Overall for listening, reading and grammar, and B2 for speaking and writing; OR PTE (Pearson Test of English Academic) - Academic Score of 50 OR TOEFL iBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language- 60 OR Cambridge (Cambridge English: Advanced from Cambridge ESOL) – 169.

Course Details

The Master of Information Technology (Extension) is suitable for students who would like to investigate business opportunities by applying a range of technological and programming concepts and tools. You will learn how to formulate, advise and implement business solutions via the aid of technology-based approaches and to communicate complex solutions and outcomes to diverse stakeholders clearly and effectively. Additionally, you will become adept at creating collaborative technological strategies based on current real-world case studies.?

You will also be taught how to apply a technical mindset when evaluating ethical, privacy and information security issues regarding technology. The course will enable you to graduate with the ability to construct, manage and operate in diverse expert teams to oversee technological initiatives.?
