What is the event about?
Tasting Australia is where foodies come together to celebrate South Australian food and wine. Over the next week and a half, events are being held around the state to showcase the finest produce alongside Adelaide’s home-grown heroes. There will be delicious food to sample, local wine to drink and long lunches, exclusive dinners, farm tours, tastings and masterclasses to attend.

Town Square is the ‘heart and soul’ of Tasting Australia. The event showcases the best local, national and international talent, producers and products, while attendees are invited to explore, enjoy, gather and graze.
Vendors such as Pizzatecca, Gelista, Andre’s Cucina, Haman Vietnamese, Red Door Bakery and more will feature, alongside live entertainment and speaker sessions.

The L Plates classes, part of TAFE SA’s Gastronomic Adventures program presents a series of hands-on cooking classes, featuring some of the state’s best known chefs and food heroes. Practical and fun, the L Plates classes are run with small groups and plenty of time to hone techniques with our amazing team of mentors.
