Entry Requirements

Age – 18+

English – IELTS 6.0 or equivalent in TOEFL, PTE, OET. Or /And Meet the Literacy, Language, Numeracy (LLN) test organised by Salford College*

Academic:

The training package does not specify any entry requirements.

Salford College has determined that students seeking entry into this course would have at least Year 12 equivalent to Australian standards or/and Certificate level qualification from Australia or/and life experiences and background of relevant work (to be supported by resume and interview and referrals)

OR

Have completed at least a Diploma level qualification or above from the BSB Training package.

And

Participate in a suitability interview session, prior to enrolment and be able to demonstrate basic planning methods and significant theoretical business knowledge that they wish to build upon.

Overview

BSB80120 Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning) equips an individual with the necessary skills and knowledge to lead others, demonstrate innovative thinking and practices, facilitate applied research and implement the latest technologies. These learnings can be utilised in industries and organisations anywhere in the world.

This qualification reflects the business demands on individuals who need highly specialised knowledge and skills in the field of organisational learning and capability development. Individuals in these roles generate and evaluate complex ideas. They also initiate, ideate, design and execute major learning and development functions within an organisation. Typically, they would have full responsibility and accountability for the personal output and work of others.

This qualification would suit leaders and managers in an organisation where learning is used to build organisational capability.

To enrol in this qualification, you must be able to demonstrate aptitude or prior experience in capability development and organisational learning.

Pathways

Education Pathway

Students who successfully complete this course may progress onto other Business courses at Bachelor’s/Master’s degree level for which they may be eligible.

Employment Pathway

Successful completion of this qualification may provide career opportunities in a senior management role in which the incumbent has sole responsibility for the outputs of a staff team or organisation. The role may be in a wide variety of industries.
